Yes there is! I’ve recently met more because of the events i organise. It’s turning into a community around Greek food , of course! Next we are celebrating the carnival!!!
♡ Terveisin eräs isosisko, jolla on neljä pikkuveljeä.
This story is so touching. I could almost relate. Though so far I know I have three half brothers and one half sister, and I am the youngest.
After my father passed away I found so many new relatives, late cousins and so, that I couldn't ever imagine (this is also one topic I would love to write about, still waiting for my genetic tests..). Finding these connections is something I cannot describe, they are sometimes quite crazy. Like the fact that one girl from my 3-6th grades, who was my best friend, turned to be my grandmothers cousin's granddaugter. And the most sad part of this all exploring is that my father is not here to tell, to explain, to share. When he did shared some small snippets, I was not interested enough and at the end always lived in a thouht he does not have any cousins, neither other closer relatives. How wrong I was. My grandmothers side I managed to dig as deep as to around end of 1600! My grandfather site is more difficult, and I hope some genetic tests may give me some answers.
Wow what an amazing story! I read a note of yours ending up to your page to see we share the Greek- Finnish-ness :)
Oh, that’s wonderful! 👋🏻 There’s a whole Finn-Greek community in Finland, and apparently i Substack too. 😁

Tämä on varmaan niitä hetkiä elämässä, jotka jakavat jo olleen ja tulevan. Aika ennen veljen tapaamista, aika hänen kanssaan. 🥹
